Wynwood Walls to Reopen Friday, December 18 Sponsored by the Wynwood BID

Wynwood Walls, the famed epicenter of the Wynwood Arts District known worldwide for its groundbreaking, ever-changing collection of curated art will re-open in partnership with the Wynwood Business Improvement District (Wynwood BID) on Friday, December 18, 2020. In an effort to provide guests with an evolved and safe experience, the Wynwood Walls will open with a new timed and ticketed system. Tickets from December 18, 2020 through January 18, 2021 will be complimentary thanks to the generous support of the Wynwood BID; beginning January 19, 2021, an entry fee will be required. Masks will be required upon entry.

“For the last ten years we’ve freely opened our doors to the community with excitement, pride and joy. We will  continue to welcome guests to the Wynwood Walls but have implemented these changes because we take the safety, security and health of our team members, artists and guests very seriously,” said Jessica Goldman Srebnick, CEO of Goldman Properties and curator of the Wynwood Walls. “We cannot wait to welcome the community in partnership with the Wynwood BID and introduce our new programming and experiences in 2021.”

“Wynwood would not be the international destination it is today without the vision and investments of the Goldman family,” said Albert Garcia, Chairman and Co-Founder of the Wynwood Business Improvement District (BID). “Our partnership with Goldman Properties underscores Wynwood’s steadfast commitment to arts and culture programming, and will allow the Wynwood Walls to safely welcome back locals and visitors to enjoy one of the largest collections of street art in the world, just in time for the holidays.”

Tickets and time slots must be reserved in advance by visiting museum.thewynwoodwalls.com. Visitors will enter through NW Second Avenue, also known as Tony Goldman Way, and are invited to explore over 50 original murals by world-renowned artists. In December 2019, shortly before closing due to the pandemic, Wynwood Walls curated an extraordinary show with new artists including Buff Monster, Dan Kitchner, Ernesto Maranje, Dasic Fernandez, Faile, Kelsey Montague, Kenny Scharf, Martha Cooper, Mina Hamada, and Tats Cru.

The Wynwood Walls Shop and GGA Gallery will also welcome guests as The Walls open for business.
