In the event of a violation of the City code, including the erection of a mural without a permit, a civil penalty may be assessed or enforcement proceedings may be instituted with the City’s code enforcement special masters. Each violation shall carry a civil penalty of $1,000.00 per day or such greater penalties as are permitted by the law.
