Wynwood Life Street Festival Returns to Showcase the District’s Unique Arts and Culture Scene

SWARM and the Wynwood Business Improvement District announce partnership to expand the three- day street Festival to showcase area’s eateries, breweries, nightlife and street artists

Miami, Florida (January 15, 2019) – The Wynwood Life Street Festival, a three-day event showcasing the unique art, fashion, music and food of Wynwood’s fifty-block arts district, is returning this year on January 25th – January 27th. SWARM is partnering with the Wynwood Business Improvement District (BID) to expand the Festival to include Wynwood’s renowned eateries, retailers, nightlife and street artists. Festival attendees will have a robust schedule of events to chose from that includes opportunities to watch Wynwood’s star chefs and mixologists in action at the Festival’s Kitchen Lab, taste craft beers from each of the area breweries at the Wynwood Beer Garden, interact with street artists during live mural installations, and listen to a range of DJ sets from the district’s top bars and nightlife venues at thedeck, the Festival’s music stage.

“This year’s Wynwood Life Street Festival will be even more exciting than the last with special experiences, collaborations and performances to create the ultimate Wynwood experience,” said SWARM CEO Tony Albelo. “We continuously work to grow the Festival, making it more representative of what our neighborhood has to offer to make it the best year yet.”

The three-day Festival is free, open to the public and will be held at The Wynwood Marketplace inside Mana Wynwood at 2250 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida 33127 during the following dates and times:

  • Friday, January 25th: 4:00pm – 3:00am
  • Saturday, January 26th: 12:00pm – 3:00am
  • Sunday, January 27th: 12:00pm – 10:00pm

“This year’s Wynwood Life Street Festival is free and open to the public,” said Wynwood BID Executive Director Manny Gonzalez. “While Wynwood has received worldwide recognition for its phenomenal street art, this year’s Festival will focus on the local, small businesses in the district including our award-winning eateries, family-friendly programming and eclectic music venues.”
