Stay, Eat and Explore… with Kids

Roam Beyond The Walls

While Miami’s signature ‘cool kid’ district offers a surfeit of art and hipster treasures, its also bursting with family-friendly activities. The walkable neighborhood guarantees families a jam-packed day, or weekend, of hustle and bustle.

Kick off your morning at Panther Coffee for a caffeine boost for the big kids, and eats the whole family will enjoy (even the vegans), or Zak the Baker if you’re looking for gourmet artisanal goods. We recommend the highly-demanded Pain Au Chocolate for a light fare, or the Tuna Melt for a more filling bite.

Wander through the gates of the adjacent Wynwood Walls, where the little and not so little ones can run free and explore the open space with its vibrantly adorned graffiti-and-more surfaces. Walk around the galleries galore Wynwood has to offer, like the Museum of Graffiti, and expose your impressionable charges to cool street-art in what feels like an outdoor artsy playground.

If you’d like to visit an actual playground, transport yourself into the FunDimension, a lively indoor space featuring virtual reality, bumper cars, laser tag & other unique  activities. The neon lights, arcade and video games create a dynamic atmosphere that captivated even the Grammy-winning rock band, Imagine Dragons, who chose this electric venue to film their song “Zero“. This state-of-the-art entertainment center caters to both adults and families — those who are here to have fun, and those who are looking for a delightful place to socialize while their children have a blast.

Check-in at the Arlo Wynwood to unwind at their rooftop pool and kick-back in one of their expansive suites. Take advantage of the hotel’s own shaded fitness deck (with sunset views!), and participate in their weekly yoga classes hosted by top trainers. After working up an appetite, pop by their French Brasserie, Marygold’s, for a Modern American menu with Florida-inspired flavors that everyone will love. Bon appétit!

Spend your Sunday Funday biking around on Arlo’s complimentary bikes, or on the neighborhood’s CitiBikes, and head over to Smorgasburg for a taste of Miami’s most diverse food market. Make sure to taste their un-missable lobster rolls and premium soft serve ice cream. Burn off the sugar rush at the Paradox Museum to explore over 70 mind-twisting exhibits for all ages. Make sure to be photo-ready to capture post worthy content of their curated backdrops.

See you this weekend!
