WYNWOOD BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT PRIVACY POLICY

Wynwood Business Improvement District and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, “Wynwood BID,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), respect your privacy concerns. This Privacy Policy explains the privacy practices for Wynwood BID’s website, domain names, features, content, software, and any other mobile and/or online services we own, operate, or offer from time to time in connection with the foregoing (collectively, the “Service”) and applies to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service (“you,” “your,” or “user”).

We also may share your Personal Information and other data with our service providers who perform services on our behalf such as information processing, order fulfillment, product delivery, managing and enhancing customer data, providing customer service, assessing your interest in our products and services, and conducting customer research or satisfaction surveys. These service providers are not authorized by us to use or disclose this information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements.We also may disclose your Personal Information and other data (i) if we are required to do so by law or legal process (such as a court order); (ii) in response to a request by law enforcement authorities; (iii) to enforce our Terms of Use, agreements, and other policies; or (iv) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity.     As a general rule, the Wynwood BID may be required to disclose any personally identifiable information collected on the Service where we receive a request to disclose information that is public information under the State of Florida statutes or other applicable laws. You should be aware that Florida Statute 119 declares that it is the policy of the State of Florida that all state, county, and municipal records shall be open for personal inspection by any person, and thus information collected by the Wynwood BID resulting from the use of its Service may be subject to examination and inspection upon request, if such information is a public record and not otherwise protected from disclosure by statute.  Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. If you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public records request, do not send us electronic mail. Instead, contact our office by phone or in writing.

  1. HOW IS INFORMATION SECURED? Wynwood BID cares about the integrity and security of your Personal Information. We use a variety of commercial security measures to protect your information. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or use your Personal Information for improper purposes. You acknowledge that you provide your Personal Information at your own risk.  We encourage you to protect your passwords and devices against unauthorized use and to sign off after using a shared connection to the Internet.

Because we have to communicate with you about orders that you may place with us from time to time, you cannot opt out of receiving emails related to your orders.   1. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY: Any use or access to the Service by anyone under 13 is strictly prohibited. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for the Service nor send us any information about yourself.
