Miami, FL (September 30, 2016) – With the “Zika Zone” map officially lifted, the Wynwood Business Improvement District (“BID”) is ready to celebrate, and inviting fans of the urban arts district to join them for #DineOutWynwood Day today, September 30th. Governor Scott said, “Now that the Wynwood Zika zone has been lifted, we must all work together to help this incredible Florida community fully recover. We must also all do our part to remain vigilant and keep the Wynwood zone lifted by continuing to dump standing water and wear bug spray. I encourage everyone to travel to Wynwood today and join me in visiting the many great local restaurants and businesses that make up this unique Florida community.”

“Wynwood is Zika-free and open for business, and we’re excited to welcome our friends and supporters back to the neighborhood with a day of fantastic offers and special events,” said Wynwood BID Chairman Joseph Furst. “DineOutWynwood Day is celebrating the people and businesses that comprise our community for their perseverance and collaboration.”

“The past few months have certainly been challenging for our small, independent retailers, but we know that the broader Miami community is ready to come back out to Wynwood and support us,” said Wynwood BID Vice Chairman Albert Garcia. “We encourage our friends from across South Florida and beyond to rediscover Wynwood’s world renowned street art, cultural, retail and unique dining experiences.”
