On Tuesday, May 5, the neighborhood will come alive with a district-wide lineup of Cinco de Mayo programming, from the return of Cinco de Wynwood at Wynwood Marketplace to food and drink specials, mariachi music, piñatas, pepper-eating contests and late-night parties across the district.
Whether you are looking for an early happy hour, a full-scale block party, a sit-down dinner with mariachi or a late-night celebration that runs until 3 a.m., Wynwood has plenty of ways to celebrate.

Cinco de Wynwood returns to Wynwood Marketplace as one of Miami’s biggest Cinco de Mayo celebrations. The annual block party is expected to welcome approximately 4,000 guests for a festive night of mariachi performances, mechanical bull rides, live DJ sets, oversized margaritas, tequila shots and Mexican street food including tacos, elotes and quesadillas.
General admission is free with RSVP. A paid VIP option is also available and includes open bar from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., a private DJ, shaded VIP lounge access and dedicated restrooms.

Bar Tulio’s is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with an evening of tequila, mariachi and Mexican-inspired dining. Known for one of Wynwood’s most extensive tequila programs, the restaurant offers more than 100 tequilas, a lively bar atmosphere and 14 big-screen TVs.
The celebration will include happy hour specials from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., live DJ entertainment throughout the evening and multiple mariachi band performances. Guests can also enjoy Chef Tulio’s signature menu, including birria tacos, wings, nachos and handcrafted margaritas.

KYU is bringing its signature wood-fired, Asian-Latin approach to Cinco de Mayo with a focused two-hour happy hour created in partnership with Desolas, El Tesoro and Cointreau.
The “Cinco de Wood-Fired” menu will feature a Desolas Mezcal Blanco and Cointreau guava margarita for $12, El Tesoro Blanco tequila shots for $5 and Korean BBQ short rib tacos served on white corn tortillas with chili ponzu onions and micro cilantro, priced at $15 for two pieces.

THRōW Social Miami will turn its 35,000-square-foot indoor-outdoor venue into a full-scale Cinco de Mayo party with live music, DJs, games, drink specials and one of the day’s most attention-grabbing moments: the Scorpion Death Pepper Eating Contest.
Taking place from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., the contest will award a $150 cash prize to the participant who can take a single bite and outlast the competition before reaching for a drink.
The celebration will also feature $5 Modelo and Corona 16-ounce cans, $60 Patron Tequila Trees, a cigar roller from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., live bands and DJs, and backyard-style games including cornhole, jumbo beer pong and light-up ping pong. VIP cabanas with elevated seating for groups of up to 10 are available for $250.
