Tell us a bit about your business – the concept, what you sell and what makes you unique.
Founded by Adam and Rebekah Neumann and Miguel McKelvey in 2010, The We Company comprises three distinct business lines: WeWork, WeLive, and WeGrow. WeWork is a global platform with more than 500,000 members and provides innovative workplace solutions for any type of member organization, regardless of company size, maturity, or space needs. WeWork’s mission is to create a world where people work to make a life, not just a living. WeWork currently has 485 locations in 105 cities across 28 countries, and its members include over one-third of the Global Fortune 500.
WeWork began in 2010 with a vision to build more than just beautiful, shared office spaces. We opened our doors in the wake of the Great Recession and cultivated a community of entrepreneurs. By providing access to space that inspires, we unlocked the potential of the individual to pursue their purpose. The members of our community flourished, and with their success, entrepreneurs became small businesses, and then became big businesses. Why did you choose to open your business in Wynwood, as opposed to another Miami neighborhood?
WeWork at Wynwood Garage is an unprecedented and unique community for us in Miami-Dade County. Centrally located in the Wynwood Arts District, WeWork at Wynwood Garage will provide our members with a unique, urban playground to create their life’s work. This development boasts award-winning design and easy access to retail, dining and residential spaces — all desirable aspects we consider when looking for future WeWork locations. We look forward to expanding our footprint in the area with WeWork at Wynwood Garage, further reflecting our commitment to the growth and innovation of South Florida and beyond.
The Wynwood Arts District is home to Art Galleries, Retail Stores, Antique Shops, Eclectic Bars, and one of the largest open-air street-art installations in the world. Though the influence and relevance of the arts community in Wynwood are undeniable, new, creative businesses of all types are opening their doors in the District and encountering success here.

What does a typical day at WeWork at Wynwood Garage look like?
Members will enter the building and be greeted by their friendly Community Manager or a member of the Community team. This management team is there to take care of members’ needs, whether that be providing a toothbrush or pen, helping to plan a happy hour event, or forging networking relationships with other WeWork members. They are also there to (genuinely) welcome you to your workday. WeWork hosts a variety of weekly events such as lunch and learns, workshops, networking events or ones hosted in partnership with external groups. Throughout the day, members can book conference rooms from the WeWork app, hop in and plug into an individual phone booth for extra privacy or grab a snack from the Honesty Market on site. The building is staffed from 9 am – 6 pm each day, however, members can work earlier or later with 24/7 keycard access.
