Veni.Vidi.Vici. Miami
Each month, we spotlight a few members of the Wynwood business community to share their unique story and concept. In this profile, we asked Patrik and Silvia – the owners of Veni.Vidi.Vici Miami – to tell us more about their Miami born, handmade clothing line.
Business address: 2613 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33127
Tell us a bit about your business – the concept, what you sell and what makes you unique.
At Veni.Vidi.Vici Miami we design bada** t-shirts in a new style inspired by the joker.
We have the best t-shirts on the market. Each design is unique and all of our t-shirts are handmade. No other brands embellish t-shirts the way we do. No one uses so many different materials. We even use materials like carbon fiber. The Sir Heenry t-shirt is a great example. No one pierces and spikes t-shirts. We have styles for every body type and taste. Even our essential basics use the highest quality material. We also customize t-shirts. We believe that it’s not a shirt, it’s art.
We started the brand here in Miami with the men’s t-shirt. I wanted to have a bada** t-shirt for me but I couldn’t find a great design for men. I noticed there are a hundred women’s boutiques or there are stores for suits but I couldn’t find a high-end t-shirt that I could wear under a blazer as well as with jeans. At Veni.Vidi.Vici. Miami we sell bespoke men’s t-shirts and women’s t-shirts and dresses, men’s polos, men’s swimwear, men’s underwear, and a luxury handbag.
What does Veni Vidi Vici mean?
It’s Latin, it means “I came, I saw, I conquered”.
Why did you choose to open your business in Wynwood, as opposed to another Miami neighborhood?
We chose to open our business in Wynwood because of the art. As designers and artists, we felt at home in Wynwood. We like the inspiration the area gives us and the mood of the neighborhood itself.
What does a typical day at Veni.Vidi.Vici. Miami look like?
We bring in new merchandise, stage the products for sale and help the team setup. After that, we go around the neighborhood and talk to other business owners. During the day, we talk to customers, watch the people and eat a veggie burger at the corner diner. Before we leave, we clean the store and the walkway to keep it beautiful. Finally, we close up the shop and get ready to start again the next day.
What’s your favorite Wynwood spot to visit?
Patrik – The Wynwood Diner – because of the food and the people who work there.
Silvia – Bakan because I like the people, the decor, the food, and the cocktails. Our women’s dresses are perfect for the ladies at Bakan.
