Tell us a bit about your business – the concept, what you sell and what makes you unique.
We’re the leading Dog Daycare, Overnight and Grooming Facility in South Florida. We wanted to provide pets (dogs) and pet parents a safe, fun and clean place where they could leave their dogs while they work and travel. Seven years later, we operate four successful pet resorts in Aventura, Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale and Wynwood.
Why did you choose to open your business in Wynwood, as opposed to another Miami neighborhood?
Seven years ago, Wynwood was an up-and-coming area. We felt it was the perfect spot that connected downtown and Midtown residents. Wynwood was and still is a very unique and eclectic area, which is exactly what we envisioned for D.O.G. Hotels. We strive to be pet care re-imagined and the #1 spot for Wynwood and surrounding area residents to shop for their pet’s needs.

What does a typical day at D.O.G. Hotels look like?
Busy but super fun! We can have between 50 and 70 dogs in our facility, running, playing and socializing with themselves and our park attendants. The best part of our day is when pet parents come to pick them up and their dogs don’t want to leave!
What’s your favorite Wynwood spot to visit?
We absolutely love Veza Sur! We also love our neighbors Knox and Wynwood Dog Food.
