BID Chairman
David Lombardi is a longtime Miami Beach resident and the Broker/Principal of Lombardi Properties. He moved to Miami Beach at age seven from New York and developed a strong appreciation for the city’s history and growth. In the mid-1990s, he began investing in South Beach apartment buildings, building a 120-unit portfolio. When condo conversions made rentals unsustainable in the early 2000s, David shifted focus and began acquiring warehouse space in Wynwood in 2000.
Noticing that many of his creative South Beach tenants were now in Wynwood, David developed the Terminal Fabric Building—an adaptive reuse project featuring eight live/work lofts. Its success led to Wynwood Lofts, a 36-unit condo project that sold out in 2005. David also co-founded Museo Vault, an 85,000-square-foot fine art storage facility, reflecting his passion for art and innovation.
As Wynwood evolved into a global arts district, David expanded into Little River, where he owns 18,800 square feet of commercial space and has relocated several galleries and studios. He continues to explore opportunities in Little Havana and MiMo.
Lombardi Properties, founded in 2000, specializes in high-end residential and commercial real estate, offering integrity, expertise, and discretion to every client.
