Amir Setayesh

BID Board Member

Amir Setayesh is the Managing Director of Quadrum Global. From 2013 to the present,
he has been responsible for all of Quadrum Global’s development projects in addition to
providing senior leadership oversight for the Arlo Hotels. Amir is a development professional with
a degree in Construction Management and over 22 years of experience, including effective
supervision and management of over a billion dollars in development with Quadrum. He began
his career working on high profile development projects in Sydney, Australia from the years 2000-
2004. Thereafter, from 2004-2013 and prior to joining Quadrum, Amir worked with an
international consulting firm managing and representing owners in development within the
hospitality sector throughout the United States’ East Coast.

Under Amir’s leadership Quadrum Global successfully launched the Nautilus Hotel by Arlo
in Miami Beach. Now Amir is focused on launching the Arlo Wynwood Hotel. The Arlo Wynwood
Hotel was approved by the City of Miami in early 2020 and construction is well underway and will
be completed late 2022. Amir, and the rest his team, are incredibly excited about this new
venture because of the apparent natural synergy between the Arlo Hotel’s brand and values and
the Wynwood neighborhood ethos.

When he is not working, you can find Amir training for his next triathlon, enjoying the
outdoors on a hike, or skiing. Amir is also a dedicated girl-dad—his favorite way to spend free
time is enjoying the company of his two young daughters.
