Wynwood BID COVID-19 Update #2 – 03.24.20

Dear Wynwood BID Community:

Please take a moment to review the following key updates and important advisories:

Miami Orders Residents to Shelter in Place
The City of Miami is ordering all residents to shelter in place and remain at home until further notice, effective tonight, March 24th at 11:59pm, in order to help halt the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. All non-essential travel within the City of Miami, including by automobile, public transit, motorcycle, etc., is prohibited until further notice, with the following exceptions:

  • Travel within the City to seek goods and services from essential retail establishments such as grocery stores and pharmacies
  • Travel within the City to perform work in support of essential activities and establishments
  • Travel within the City to deliver essential services to homes, such as repair, landscaping and pool services

Additionally, residents may engage in outdoor recreational activities, but not in those places that have already been closed to the public under the existing emergency order, such as City of Miami parks. When outdoors exercising, residents must practice social distancing measures at all times.

The Wynwood BID will continue to keep you updated on any substantive changes in policy or actions that may further impact our community.  In the meantime, we are available via phone at 786-615-8828 and email at info@wynwoodbid.com should you have any questions.

Please stay safe and healthy,

Wynwood Business Improvement District
