Cooke will read excerpts from the book and will answer questions along side his contributors such as the Museum of Graffiti’s own Carlos Mare. Books will be available signing by both Cooke and Mare. \nHip-Hop Architecture outlines a powerful new manifesto-the voice of the underrepresented\, marginalized\, and voiceless within the discipline. Exploring the production of spaces\, buildings\, and urban environments that embody the creative energies in hip-hop\, it is a newly expanding design philosophy which sees architecture as a distinct part of hip-hop’s cultural expression\, and which uses hip-hop as a lens through which to provoke new architectural ideas. \nExamining the present and the future of Hip-Hop Architecture\, the book also explores its historical antecedents and its theory\, placing it in a wider context both within architecture and within Black and African American movements. Throughout\, the work is illustrated with inspirational case studies of architectural projects and creative practices\, and interspersed with interludes and interviews with key architects\, designers\, and academics in the field. This is a vital and provocative work that will appeal to architects\, designers\, students\, theorists\, and anyone interested in a fresh view of architecture\, design\, race and culture.

DESCRIPTION:For the opening day\, the artist will be in attendance to tattoo custom Fuzi-drawn tattoos in his signature style – for free on a first come first serve basis.  \nThis year\, French graffiti and tattoo artist FUZI invades the Museum of Graffiti on Wednesday\, December 1 to present DEFACED\, an exhibition of new works on canvas and historic works from his days as a train painter in Paris. Fuzi’s new exhibit brings to life his tattoo style but this time on canvas. Bold and humorous paintings depicting his raucous cartoon world that has gone mad. Humans vs animals\, vandals vs police and everything in between come together in his expertly rendered pieces. This is lowbrow art at its finest. On view till February 1\, 2022.  \nFuzi will present a 360 degree fully painted immersive room with his signature figures and faces\, titled: IGNORANTISM. The room celebrates his tattoo style of illustration with storytelling of his  \nfavorite subject: street life. Criminals\, vandals\, luxury cars\, beaches\, and animals come to life on the walls and tell the story of excess in Miami. Nightclubs and beach life come together in a monochromatic celebration with ink as the medium. The message – a defaced wall is a good wall\, enjoy it.

Taking place at Wynwood Marketplace\, HIVE Wynwood will kick off Art Week with a pop-up lounge experience transforming the space into a utopia of cocktails and culinary arts. \nThroughout the day\, the culinary village will provide a curated tasting experience featuring a food hall curated by REEF. Ketel One Vodka will take centerstage at the cocktail village with an over-the-top drinking experience featuring three signature Ketel One Vodka cocktails\, including an Espresso Martini served on tap\, a Ketel One Mule and Ketel Soda. Visitors will also be able to enjoy the new canned Ketel One Botanical Vodka Spritz in all three varietals. Throughout the weekend\, VIP attendees will have the opportunity to spin the Martini Wheel for a chance to taste an exclusive Ketel One Martini from a specialty menu.
