Foundation 2 F.A.M.E.
Foundation 2 F.A.M.E. is a 501 (c)(3) youth empowerment agency designed to support the inner city through creative expression, leadership development, and financial literacy. F.A.M.E. is an acronym for Follow, Aspire, Multiply, and Elevate, changing the negative meaning associated with fame into a positive one. We engage the community through different creative programs that give students the opportunity to learn about Music Theory, Audio Engineering, Music Production, Dance, Contemporary Art, Improv, Songwriting, and Financial Literacy.
The Musical Theory 2 F.A.M.E. Program
An eight week summer program created for high school students from the ages of 13-17 years old focused on providing a real world experience in the music industry and creative arts. Our students work with professional music producers, engineers, singers/songwriters, dancers, painters, artists, and CEOs to gain the necessary knowledge to be successful in their creative endeavors as they transition to becoming adults.
F.A.M.E. After School Program
Our after school program supports elementary schools in Miami, Florida, serving students from Pre Kindergarten to Fifth Grade. Currently we are working with Eneida M. Hartner Elementary, a Title 1 school located in the heart of Wynwood, supplementing their current Music and Art curriculum. Over the past 2 years we have mentored around 200 students in creative subjects like Music, Art, Dance, and Improv. Through our work at the Eneida, the students have excelled both creatively and academically.
HalloWynwood Haunted House
HalloWynwood is a community event designed to engage families through a wide range of attractions from music, art, a pumpkin patch, face painting, goodie bags, and of course a Haunted House built by residents of Wynwood. HalloWynwood is deeply rooted in the community of Wynwood, with the first one happening over 10 years ago. The history and culture of our people is found within Roberto Clemente Park and HalloWynwood represents the best parts of it. This event provides a safe space for our children during Halloween, bringing people together to enjoy themselves and support the people who are investing in the community.
Eneida Mural Project Collaboration
The creative arts have the ability to bring all walks of life together. The possible impact creativity can leave on a community is infinite. With unemployment, violence and crime currently at alarming levels, Foundation 2 F.A.M.E. began on a journey to collaborate on a project that would positively affect young students in under privileged neighborhoods. The RAW Project brought together over 30 international artists to do museum worthy murals on the walls of Eneida M. Hartner Elementary. We collaborated with them towards the end of the project to ensure it was completed and participated in the press tour event by speaking on behalf of the neighborhood and Eneida M. Hartner Elementary.
